She was predeceased by: her parents, James Lee Koon, Sr. and Agnes Hipp Koon; her former husband Jimmy Byrns Bedenbaugh; and her siblings, Betty Koon Shealy, Jeanette Koon Hamm, Clarence Robert Koon and Jimmy Koon.
She is survived by: her husband Robert G. Shealy; her sons, J. Todd Bedenbaugh (Dennie) of Prosperity and Michael Shea Bedenbaugh (Angelia) of Prosperity; and her grandchildren, Corey T. Bedenbaugh (Jessica) and Grace Bedenbaugh.
