She is survived by: her children, Cassie Mae Simmons Williams of Port Royal, SC, Lucretia "Kathy" Simmons of Port Royal, SC, Darlene Raymond (Bruce) of Port Royal, SC, Diane Jill Smith of Port Royal, SC, Roy Simmons of Port Royal, SC, Sam "Craig" Smith, Jr. of Port Royal, SC and Rodney Smith of Port Royal, SC; her sisters-in-law, Rachel Freeman (Benjamin) of St. Helena Island, SC and Viola Sampson of New Jersey; and her niece Georgia Mae Jenkins Smalls (Samuel). She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren.
