She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles Douglas Tootle; her daughter Betty Carolyn; her parents, Ralph Groover and Betty Groover of Gum Brach, GA.; her children, Charles Douglas Tootle (Brenda), Kenneth Lynn Tootle and Mary Beth Coffield (Richard); her grandchildren, Cherice Cothran (David), Kim Lockstedt (John), Lynn Tootle (Vanessa), Caroline Hayden (Sean), Douglas Tootle, Christian Tootle, Rob Griffeth and Simon Griffeth (Carrie); and her great grandchildren, Alaina Cothran, Evan Lockstedt, Audrey Lockstedt, Nick Tootle, Julia Tootle, Maggie Tootle, Luke Hayden, Kellen Hayden, Emery Hayden, Robert Griffeth IV and Franklin Mathos-Griffeth.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Port Royal Baptist Church or Friends of Caroline Hospice.
