We are sad to announce that on September 8, 2019, at the age of 96, Helvi Linnea Virtanen (Port Royal, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Valto; her son Asko; her parents, Ida Markkanen (Hoppanen) and Veikko Markkanen; her daughter-in-law Carole Virtanen of Billings, Montana; her daughter Helena Hoag (John); her granddaughter Lindsay Hoag (Edward Telleria) of Santo Domingo; and her great grandchildren, Max and Robert.
