She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Estelle Kinney Wilson and William Preston Wilson; her husband Joseph D. "Joe" Nix; her son Lamar Nix (Alice) of Seabrook; her granddaughters, Elizabeth Wilson (Stephen) of Roswell and Mary Caneer (Patrick) of Decatur; her great grandchildren, Harrison Caneer, Alex Caneer of Decatur, Reece Wilson and Riley Wilson of Roswell, Georgia.; and her daughter Jo Anne Nix.
In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be given in her honor to the Apple Valley Baptist Church, 4640 Commerce Road, Commerce, GA 30529.
