She was predeceased by: her parents, Kirby Ducayet and Mary MacPhearson Ducayet. She is survived by: her children, Mark Bleezarde, Eric Bleezarde and Jennifer Cajigas; and her siblings, Wallace Ducayet, Kirby Ducayet and Marcelle Krazeski. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donation be made to Humane Society of Beaufort County, P. O. Box 4326, Beaufort, SC 29903.
