We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2020, at the age of 88, Charleen McWilliams Gilbert of Port Royal, South Carolina, born in Denver, Colorado passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles McWilliams and Eileen McWilliams; and her siblings, Jean, Charles and Phillip of Denver.

She is survived by: her children, Phillip Gilbert (Jean) of Sumter, SC, Elaine Thompson (Dick) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Gail Brazell (Riley Randall) of Port Royal, Barbara Berry (Jim) of Port Royal, SC and Alan Gilbert (Jonda Mason) of Simpsonville, SC; and her grandchildren, Sarah Buckner of Cayce, SC, Hayne Gilbert of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer Bolick of Richmond Hill, GA, Bobby Wilder of Myrtle Beach, SC, Leslie Williams of Silver Spring, MD, Elizabeth Sanders of Simpsonville, SC, Kyle Brazell of Columbia, SC, Mallory Greer of Greer, SC, Katie Berry of Washington, DC, Rachel Berry of Leesville, SC and Alison Berry. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
