He is survived by: his wife Gayle Kunkle Atkinson; his children, Rusty Rawls (Teresa), Brandon Atkinson and Lisa Wilcox (Steve); and his grandchildren, Chelsea, BrayLee Rawls, Joshua and Audrey Wilcox. He is also survived by great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
