It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Walter Gray of Pomaria, South Carolina, born in Abbeville, South Carolina, who passed away on June 28, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Walter may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leland Gray, Sr. and Freda Louise Hartsell Gray; and his brothers, Leland Gray, Jr. and Freddie Gray. He is survived by: his siblings, Joseph Gray (Marilyn) and Suzanne Gray Shealy; and his sisters-in-law, Virginia Gray and Sonja Gray.
