He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Wright and Mamie Lee Mathis Wright. He is survived by: his son Hakiem Byrd; his grandson Karter Byrd; his siblings, Dinette Wright, Tammy Martin, Jamie Wright and Glendora Wright; and his niece Brittany Wright. He is also survived by three aunts, two uncles, one sister-in-law, three brothers-in-law, other relatives and friends.
