With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Randy Williams of Pomaria, South Carolina, born in Newberry, South Carolina, who passed away on February 1, 2022 at the age of 64. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Williams and Bonnie Mae Williams; his siblings, John Henry Williams, Bobby Ray Williams and Phyllis Dale Douglas; and his parents-in-law, Annie Lindler and James E. Lindler.

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lindler Williams; his sons, TyQuan Williams (Amber) of Pomaria, SC, Martigcus Davis of Columbia, SC, Donnell Williams of Newberry, SC and Lonnell Williams of Newberry, SC; his grandchildren, Geraldmyer Jones of Newberry, SC and Bailey Grace Davis; his great grandchild Alexis Jones; his siblings, Clyde Williams (Earlene) of Pomaria, SC, Linda Chapman of Pomaria, SC, Ebbie King of Prosperity, SC, Ida Mae Chapman, Minnie Richardson (Larry) of Columbia, SC, Ricky Williams (Lois) of Pomaria, SC and Tessie Mendenhall of Pomaria, SC; his godchildren, Tyshiem Mendenhall of Pomaria, SC and Michala Richard of Pomaria, SC; his uncle Clifford Edwards; his great-aunt Claudine Williams; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Marshall of Newberry, SC, Earline Gray of Prosperity, SC, Dianne Rauch of Prosperity, SC, Lillie Williams of Pomaria, SC, Barbara Williams of Pomaria, SC, Roscoe Lindler of Washington, DC, James Earl Lindler of Prosperity, SC, Ollie Lindler of Newberry, SC, Kenny Lindler (Sandra) of Newberry, SC and Sherman Lindler of Prosperity, SC.

Douglas Rizzo wrote a sympathy message

“My condolences to the family. I met Randy (and Ricky) early on in my career at VC Summer 20 years ago. I quickly learned to gain respect for the Scaffold crew as the work is very strenuous. Randy always maintained a cool,calm, and patient demeanor even during outages when the crew gets asked frequently to build or modify scaffolds on short notice. I think that Randy has had a huge influence on the crews and the quality of their work. I will miss Randy coming by and calling me Ritzo Ritzo.”
