He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Pearl; and his daughter-in-law Lisa Adams Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Richardson; his children, Barry (Trina Richardson) and Janna Richardson; his grandchildren, Meredeth Richardson and Christopher (Amanda Richardson); his stepgranddaughter Amber (Lester Kroeger, III); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Riley and Lester, IV; his brother Merrill Richardson; and his aunt Doris "Dot" Graham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
