It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Boinest Suber of Pomaria, South Carolina, who passed away on June 19, 2024, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, William Bowman Boinest, Jr. and Mary "Mamie" Livingston Boinest; her husband Willie Jacob Suber, Jr.; her siblings, William Deleal Boinest (Carleen) and Mary Jean Boinest; her in-laws, Ethel (Thomas Smith), Tommie (Katie Suber), Cornelia (Pat Long), Elizabeth (Harvey Berley), Mathilde (Mark Smith) and Marie (Dan Sandel); her nieces, Elaine Story and Frances Abrams; and her nephew Warren Sandel.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Sandra Higingbottom, Diane Yarborough, Russell Suber, Ellen Blackstone, Rita Boozer, Alice Boozer, Nancy Carswell, Linda Livingston, Dale Smith, Vernon Smith and Steve Sandel.
The family suggests memorials be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 209 New Hope Road, Pomaria, SC 29126.
