Bates of Pomaria, SC and Laverne T. Sims of Columbia, SC; his grandchildren, Jasmine Chapman, Brea Jeter, Jared Chapman, Candace Tobe, Cassidy Tobe, Chakera Tobe and Jaylen Flemon; his great grandchildren, Layla Coleman, Londyn Drayton and Bailyn Harris; and his sisters-in-law, Lillie Ruff, Loretta Moon and Mattie Dorley. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
