It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Doris D. Wicker of Pomaria, South Carolina, born in Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband John Alan Wicker, Jr.; her parents, Wilbur Dowd and Eva Shealy Dowd; and her siblings, Margaret Richardson Fulmer and Ellis Dowd.
She is survived by: her daughters, Johnsie Long (Kenny) of Little Mountain and Cathy Franklin (Robbie) of Pomaria; and her sister Mollie Graham of Newberry. She is also survived by five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
