With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alma Harris of Pomaria, South Carolina, born in Wellford, South Carolina, who passed away on September 20, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Troy B. Steading, Sr. and Marie Layne Steading; her husbands, Carl William McIntyre and Burr C. Harris; and her siblings, Elizabeth McNair Faxon, Helen Lunsford and Troy B. Steading, Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Michael McIntyre (Susan) of Lexington, Donna Smith (Melvin) of Pomaria and Vicky Melvin (Terry) of Winnsboro; her sister Gladys Steading Fowler of Easley; her grandchildren, Jason Smith (Shannon), Crystal Smith, Wes Melvin (Lacy), Brittany Melvin, Brad McIntyre and Carla Velasquez (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Cal Smith, Skylar, Brady, Isabella Velasquez, Cole and Molly Kate Melvin.

Due to COVID 19 everyone is reminded of social distancing guidelines and masks are encouraged.
