She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Frances and Alvin Lester; her husband Vernon Curtis "Mook" Clegg Sr.; and her grandson Jonathan Clegg. She is survived by: her children, Tony Clegg, Randy Clegg, Joyce Lamb (Stan), Wanda Rhodes (Robert), Curtis Clegg (Karen) and Donnie Clegg (Brittany); and her brothers, Howard and Larry Lester.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Edgefield Mercantile Funeral Home, Inc. (801 Columbia Rd, Edgefield, SC 29824). A graveside service was held on Tuesday, January 7th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Plum Branch Baptist Church (106 Church St., Plum Branch, SC 29845).
