She was predeceased by: her parents, John "Spike" Harold Walker, Sr. and Julia Rowell Walker; her husband David Brown; and her brothers, Harold, Charlie, Tommy and Billy Walker.
She is survived by: her daughter Julie Newby (Dusty); her grandchildren, Olin and River Newby; and her brother Benny Walker (Rhonda). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made in honor of Lyn to Hospice and Palliative Care of the Piedmont in Greenwood, SC.
