Joseph Kress Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Kress of Pinopolis, South Carolina, born in Dunkirk, Indiana, who passed away on January 27, 2024, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Kress and Clara Kress; his son Tim Kress; his daughter-in-law Tammi Kress; and his grandchildren, Angel and Isaac Kress.

He is survived by: his children, Christopher Kress and Clara Kress of Pinopolis, SC; his daughter-in-law Lori Riggin Kress of Indianapolis, IN; and his stepsisters, Diane Reed Beam, Judi Reed Malone and Elaine Reed Wade.

“Joe was a neighbor the same age as my brother Pat Landon. We all spent hours growing up together playing card and board games. Joe took me to my first formal Dance. In later years my husband Jack, me and three children visited his family in Michigan, and visited with them in Muncie, In. Have wonderful memories and will miss him Greatly.”
