He is survived by: his children, Erica Shirah Boland (Kevin) and Joseph Franklin "Frankie" Shirah, Jr. (Bambi); his siblings, James Samuel "Sammy" Shirah, Jr. (Carol Ann), John Christopher "Chris" Shirah (Wanda), Patricia Shirah Reber (William) and Carol Shirah Richburg; and his grandchildren, Ali Lea Shirah, Colton Jase Shirah and Rylee Grace Shirah. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
