He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Henry McLeod and Mary Bertha English "Polly" McLeod; his grandson Skyler Lane Johnson; his son-in-law Stephen Lamar "Sparky" Johnson, Jr.; his siblings-in-law, Bobby Walton, Danny Gainey and Bonnie McLeod; his nephew Jason Walton; and his niece Ginger McLeod.
He is survived by: his wife Margie Gainey McLeod; his daughter Pam Johnson of Pinewood; his grandchildren, Trevor, Stephen, Steve and Savannah Johnson; and his siblings, Larry "Butch" McLeod (LaNelle) of Sumter, Jim Henry McLeod, Jr. (Kathy) of Pinewood, Stanley Earl McLeod (Mechele) of Greenville, Mark Anthony McLeod of Pinewood, Shirley McLeod Walton of Sumter, Louise McLeod Geddings (A. L.) of West Columbia and Joy McLeod Clemmons (Jackie) of Sumter. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
