It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Prioleau Middleton of Pineville, South Carolina, who passed away on February 25, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Sgt. Samuel Middleton; her daughters, Adrienne E. Adams (Joseph) and Tracey E. Gaffey (Michael); her granddaughter Giselle Koubenec (Noah); her stepdaughter Tiffany Middleton; her goddaughter Sharon Singletary; and her siblings, William Prioleau, Jr. (Pearline), Jessie Mae P. Blanding, Mary P. Muckelvaney and Lillian P. Fayall. She was also cherished by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
All arrangements and professional services have been entrusted to Scott's Mortuary, Inc. The family has requested no visitation at this time due to the Pandemic.
In lieu of sending flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the United Negro College Fund.
