Blanding (Dorothy), Minister Claudius Blanding, Sr. (Joyce), Lenora Kennedy (Vardry), Pastors Gerard Blanding, Sr. (Veta), Junior Deacon Keith Blanding (Cynthia), Myra Blanding-Rose and Deacon Vincent Blanding (Nancy); his sisters, Ida Blanding Taylor of Sumter, SC and Lillie Mae Dingle; his son-in-law Timothy D. Rose; his siblings-in-law, Ruth P. Middleton (Sammie), Mary Mucklevany, Lillian Fayall and William M. Prioleau, Jr. (Pearline); and his godchild Joletta Barnes. He is also survived by Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
