It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Shaw (Pineville, South Carolina), born in Charleston, South Carolina, who passed away on August 21, 2019, at the age of 50, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Franklin James Shaw and Dora Shaw Silver; his significant other Denise Spink; his child Pineville; his brothers, James "Boo" Shaw of Edgemoor, SC and Terry Shaw (Julie) of Jamestown; and his nieces and nephews, Emily, Stephanie, Hank, Hannah, Daniel and Miranda.
