He was predeceased by: his sisters, Winyss A. Shepard and Gwenda A. Barnitz. He is survived by: his parents, Kesniel Carswell Acton and Renee Odhner Acton; his wife Henrietta Gourdin Acton; his son Kesniel Carswell Acton of North Charleston; his sisters, Berith C. Acton of Treasure Island, FL, Doris A Halterman and Janice A. Rosco; and his uncle John Acton of Bryn Athyn, PA.
