It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Dawson of Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on February 2, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband James Lee Dawson; her parents, William Napoleon and Onie Smith Harris; her son Michael Dawson; her sisters, Charlotte Harris, Lois Thornton and Shelby Jean Ramsey; and her grandson Corey Dawson.
She is survived by: her sons, Stephen Ray Dawson (Donna) of Piedmont, Randall Todd Dawson (Tamera) of Piedmont and Charles Allen Dawson (Lee) of Easley; her sisters, Rebecca "Becky" Bentley of Austell, GA and Barbara Daniels (James) of San Juan, PR; her grandchildren, Erica Dawson of Piedmont, Tyler Dawson (Leah) of Six Mile, Casey Dawson (Rachel) of Mt. Carmel, IL, Hannah McClain (Tyler) of Belton, Jonathan Dawson of Easley and Julia Dawson of Piedmont; and her great grandchildren, Madilyn of Mt. Carmel, IL, Carly of Mt. Carmel, IL, Gavin of Mt. Carmel, IL, Lucas of Mt. Carmel, IL, Chloe Dawson of Mt. Carmel, IL, Maddox, Berkley and Willow McClain of Belton.
