He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert William and Sara Nell Lewis Tesnear. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Lynn Kennedy Tesnear; his children, William Douglas Tesnear, Jr. (Marisa) and Emily Alexandra Tesnear; his siblings, Robert Donald Tesnear of Williamston and Rebecca Lynn Tesnear Bearden of Pelzer; and his grandson Noah Landon Tesnear.
