He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward C. Brasington and Eddie Mae Cauthen; and his brother Frankie Brasington. He is survived by: his wife Rhonda Brasington; his children, Scott Brasington (Sharon) of Kershaw, SC and Stephanie Sampson (John) of Easley, SC; his grandchildren, Adam Truesdale (Leann), Alicia Brown and Cheyenne Sampson; his great grandchildren, Allison Brown, Collin Brown, Caeley Truesdale, Cameren Truesdale and Emma Truesdale; his sister Julie Hayes (Willie); and his friend Marie Killian. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
