It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Teresa Hewetson in Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Darlington, South Carolina, who passed away on February 20, 2021, at the age of 56, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Larry Eugene Blackmon; and her husband Dr. Donald Jesse Hewetson. She is survived by: her mother Patricia A. Blackmon; her children, Clint Adam Hewetson of Chicago, IL, Dirk Joseph Hewetson (Mina Daya Aitelhadj) of Seattle, WA and Jessica Gruber (Joel) of Oak Park, IL; her grandchildren, Dylan Gavin Hewetson and Natalie Josephine Gruber; and her siblings, Larry Blackmon (Lynn) of Fleming Island, FL, Robbie Blackmon (Holly Hatchell) of Darlington, SC and Nancy Moosmann (Daniel) of Florence, SC.
The family will receive friends following the service with all COVID19 protocols enforced. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in The Hewetson's name to the Humane Society of York County, 8177 Regent Parkway, Ste 103, Ft Mill, SC, 29715.
