She was predeceased by: her parents, Shirley Kelly and Ruth Mull Kelly; her son James Steven Nations; and her granddaughter Angela Nations. She is survived by: her husband Stephen Fishel of Piedmont; her children, Kelly Nations (Linda) of Piedmont, Neal Nations (Lisa) of Piedmont, Robert Stephen Fishel of Walkertown, NC and Stephanie Renee Fishel of Woodstock, GA; and her grandson Landon Nations of Piedmont.
