He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James T. Hughey and Cora Lee McAdams Hughey; his children, Jason Hughey of Piedmont and Allison Isbell (Shane) of Easley; his significant other Barbara Aboualy; his significant other's daughters, Lisa Dawkins and Judy Burdette; his sister Cindy Erexson of Piedmont; his niece Katie MacKnight (Paul); and his grandchildren, Owen Hughey and Reagan Isbell. He was also cherished by five step-grandchildren.
