She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Patterson and Grace Inez Powell Patterson; her son Michael McCollum; and her brother Buddy Patterson. She is survived by: her granddaughter Andrea McCollum of Atlanta; her siblings, David Patterson (Dianne) of Anderson and Martha Rollison of Simpsonville; and her daughter-in-law Carolyn Vaughan. She is also survived by seven nieces and nephews.
