She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Lee Chapman Sr. and Frances Aretta Glazner Chapman; and her brothers, Paul Chapman, Jackie Chapman and Louie Chapman.
She is survived by: her husband Ralph Edward Black; her children, Robert Young of Pelzer, Heather Smith of Pelzer, Michael Black of Pelzer, Mistie Black of Greenville and Tonya Bass of Piedmont; and her siblings, Aretta Allen of Williamston and Wayne "Jabo" Chapman of Travelers Rest. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 12:45 PM to 1:45 PM at 824 SC-20, Belton, SC 29673. A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
