He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Elisha Schumpert and Ethel Carrie Adams Schumpert; his wife Mary Schumpert; his son Roy Schumpert, Jr.; and his siblings, William Schumpert, Sadie Elrod and Helen Miller.
He is survived by: his children, Sheree Cole (Tom) and Michael Uenking (Rebecca); his daughter-in-law Janet Schumpert; his grandchildren, Erin Schumpert (Stacey), Mary Ashleigh Uenking, Matthew Uenking and Clint Schumpert; his great grandchildren, Barrett Schumpert and Bailey Schumpert; and his friend Charlene Warfford.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 3:45 PM at the Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes - Southeast Chapel (1604 NE Main St, Simpsonville, SC 29681). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
