It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Hughes (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Young Harris, Georgia, who passed away on March 1, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Catherine Hughes; and his brother Bart H. Hughes. He is survived by: his sons, Jack Curtis Hughes (Sherry) of Greenville and Gene Richard Hughes (Carol) of Powdersville. He is also survived by three grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Palladium Hospice, 10 Enterprise Blvd., Ste 202, Greenville, SC 29615.
