He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Herbert Spivey and Jennie Vee Blackstone Spivey; and his sister Maxine Owens. He is survived by: his siblings, Gaith Spivey of Kinards, Shirley Beemer of Simpsonville, Margie Osborne (Donnie) of Clinton and Wanda Holley of Clinton; and his nieces and nephews, Jason, Jacob Holley, Michael Holbert, Veronica Leopard, Angela Kirkland, Fred Spivey, Tina Foster, Dana Roth and Devin Osborne.
A graveside service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Springs Baptist Church Cemetery (412 Mountain Springs Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
In lieu of flowers, the family would like memorials to be made to the Laurens County Cancer Association, 1337 Medical Ridge Road, Clinton SC 29325.
