Peggy Young Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Peggy Young of Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Clarkrange, Tennessee, who passed away on June 9, 2021 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Jackson and Bernice Franklin Ashburn; her son Ronald Dean Young, II; and her brothers, Ezra, Kenneth and Robert Ashburn.
She is survived by: her husband Ron Young; her daughters, Greta Blocker (Michael) of Bishop, GA and Jennifer Campbell (Robby) of Pelzer; her siblings, Lola Hall, Barbara Criswell (Gene) of Muncie, IN and Elmer Ashburn, Jr. (Charlene) of Knoxville, TN; and her grandchildren, Allison, Megan Blocker, Julia and Coleman Wagner. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law and spouses.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Augusta Road United Methodist Church, 8324 Augusta Road, Pelzer, SC 29669.
