She was predeceased by: her husband David Suratt; her parents, Joe Stewart and Eliza Almetia Bishop Stewart; and her sons, Jimmy Black and Steve Black.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Gentry, Debbie Batson, Bonnie Kitts, David William Suratt, Jr. and Chad Timothy Suratt. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
