He was predeceased by: his parents, William Elmer and Nancy Elizabeth Howard Jones. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Naomi Brown Jones; his children, Morris E. "Morey" Jones, Jr. of Piedmont and Margaret Nancy Jones "Nan" Childress (Tommy) of Piedmont; his siblings, Donald Jones of Liberty and Marilyn Porter of Pelzer; and his grandchildren, Colton B. Jones (Sabrina) of Piedmont, Kristen Childress of Pelzer and Kayla Owens of Piedmont.
