With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Matthew Wilkes of Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Norfolk, Virginia, who passed away on April 28, 2023 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Patrick Wilkes and Mary Helen Brown. He is survived by: his children, Chloe Wilkes and Colin Wilkes; his sisters, Lindsay Bullock (James), Taylor Martinez and Sierra Martinez; and his nieces, Madison, Cordelia, Ava and Genevieve. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
