It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Joan Hanks of Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on July 10, 2022, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Jacobitz and Mabel Jacobitz; her son Ricky J. Hanks; and her granddaughter Kyndel Sullivan. She is survived by: her children, Sharla Hanks Smith of Simpsonville, Sheryl Sullivan (Larry) of Pelzer, David Hanks of Fountain Inn and James Hanks (Cheryl) of Piedmont. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
