He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Royal McDaniel, Sr. and Myrtle Ashley McDaniel; his wife Deanna Williams McDaniel; and his siblings, Fred Bundy McDaniel and Wilma McDaniel Roberts.
He is survived by: his brothers, Donald R. McDaniel (Nancy) and Bobby E. McDaniel; and his sister-in-law Joann McDaniel of Rock Hill.
