He is survived by: his wife Mary Tippett Murvin; his children, Joy, Becky, Malinda and Jay Thompson (Niki); his grandchildren, Taylor, Alyssa, Sara and Jimmy; and his brothers, Floyd Thompson, Tommy Thompson and Johnny Thompson (Debbie).
A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Greenville Memorial Gardens (7784 Augusta Rd, Piedmont, SC 29673).
