Larry Abbott Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Larry Abbott of Piedmont, South Carolina, who passed away on April 23, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Larry may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Larry touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Calvin and Sara Frances Tinsley Abbott; and his sister Lynn Fisher. He is survived by: his son Jason Abbott of Greenville; his stepson Joshua Hines of Greenville; his adoptive father Kevin Longhorn (Amber) of Greenville; and his grandchildren, Parker Abbott, Landen Longhorn and Dalton Longhorn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Gray Mortuary (52 Main St, Pelzer, SC 29669).
