It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Fred Bishop (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Pickens, South Carolina, who passed away on April 16, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Bishop; his parents, Joseph Bishop and Nan Jones Bishop; and his sons, Joseph Bishop, Jr. and Richard Kenneth Bishop.
He is survived by: his daughters, Patricia Padgett (Doug), Debbie Blair, Cora Lee Ward (Lee) and Jacqueline Bishop; and his sister Ruth Bishop Lesley. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; 15 great great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
