He is survived by: his wife Mable Mayes; his children, Wayne Mayes (Regina) of Homerville, GA, James Mayes (Robin) of Jacksonville, FL and Renee Rampey of Powdersville; his grandchildren, Christopher Wilson, Heather Morash, Jason, Emily and Kelly Mayes; and his great grandchildren, Grant, Luke Morash, Jacqueline Wilson, Alexander Mayes, John Walker and Riley Beverly.
