She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell Cunningham and Bessie Spellman Cunningham; her husband John J. Barnhart; and her brother William Cunningham. She is survived by: her sons, Michael A. Barnhart (Deborah) of Piedmont, SC, John R. Barnhart (Lisa) of Horn Lake and Jerry Cunningham of Piedmont, SC; and her brother James Cunningham of Athens. She is also survived by five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren.
