He was predeceased by: his parents, Jim Bob and Bessie Jones Owens. He is survived by: his wife Ethel Youvenus Arflin Owens; his son Douglas Owens (Terri) of Belton; his brothers, Billy Ralph Owens of Belton and Marvin Owens of Anahiem, CA; his granddaughter Robyn McCoy (Jordan) of Belton; and his great grandchildren, Jayden and Tyler McCoy.
