It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jerry H. Merritt (Piedmont, South Carolina), born in Greenville, South Carolina, who passed away on March 24, 2018, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Andrew and Nannie Mae Dilworth Merritt; and his siblings, Jimmy Merritt and Virgie Jester. He is survived by: his wife Lisa A. Merritt; his children, Jerry Merritt, Jr. and April Pace (Grady) of Piedmont; his sisters, Betty White, Nancy Lynch and Mary Rouda; his grandchildren, Jessi Pace and Dixie Pace; and his great grandchild Ada Pace.
