It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Walters in Piedmont, South Carolina, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on February 9, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Hurley Walters and Atha Griffen Kirk; his wife Ola Hazel Martin Walters; his brother Horace Walters; and his grandson James Andrew Laney.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Eugene Baynard (Michele) of Summerville, SC, Mickey Dean Baynard (Pamela) of Southport, NC, Nancy Faye Trainer (Don) of Commerce, GA, Dale Rene Frampton (Hal) of Charleston, SC and Janice Kay Tate (Paul) of Rock Hill; and his siblings, Haskel Lee Walters of Goldhill, NC, Sylvia Walters Kelly of Rock Hill and Louise Walters Rollins of Lancaster, SC.. He is also survived by his 15 grandchildren and multiple great-grandchildren.
